Safety

When riding a motorcycle it is important to wear a helmet, This will protect your skull if you come off the motorbike and headbutt a tree or the surface of the road upon which you are travelling. But if someone has borrowed your helmet - what should you do then?

Improvise!
A motorcycle is intended to carry either the driver on his/her own or accompanied by just one pillion passenger. However, some say there is better safety in numbers:-
Here in Britain thousands of car drivers have been fined by the police for not wearing seatbelts. Of course these are not necessary on motorbikes as motorcyclists are all extremely careful road users:-

    1. That's not a dog, it's an indicator. There's another one on the other side.

    1. What a co-incidence! I had no idea you'd had a relationship with him.

  3. The second photo reminds me of the old joke about how many people you can fit in a Volkswagon Beetle. Maybe it wasn't a joke, because I can't remember a punchline. This is awkward ...

    1. Wasn't the joke - How many elephants can you get in a Beetle?

Answer: 4 - two in the front, two in the back.

  4. When all else fails....

A family who travels together is happy together, and stays together...and falls off together!

  5. Six people and a dog on that poor little motor cycle! I'm sure with that load the motorcycle could not pick up much speed. The poor little road with all that weight!

    1. I guess that this kind of thing is a familiar sight in Fed Deer city centre.

  6. I'd rather walk if someone were to offer me a lift on a motor bike, even if I were the only passenger.

  7. I never thought of using a bucket as a crash helmet but it might look quite fetching given the right bucket. (and the right head too of course).

    1. A bucket might also make a trendy wedding hat. You could stick a feather on the side to make it look even more stylish.

  8. What's funny is, bucket boy seems to have a perfectly good helmet on the bike in front of him. Wonder why he's not wearing that instead of the bucket? Maybe it's an intentional fashion statement.

    1. I spotted that helmet too. Perhaps the purple colour didn't go with his stylish mortorbiking outfit.
